Eric E. Jenkins was born in Los Angeles, California and discovered his love for writing early in life. He would take great pride in school writing term papers and doing research projects, but his teachers felt that he must have been cheating and having someone else do the work because the level of the writings was far beyond what a child of his age should have been able to produce.

Eric took a break from writing to pursue a career in radio announcing, and returned to writing, pursuing both writing and radio near the end of the 20th century. After a three year stint hosting a Sunday night radio show with the American Radio Network in Hollywood, Eric would take a break from radio to concentrate on writing and raising his family.

In June of 2005, Eric would move to New Orleans, Louisiana with his family, and, thanks to being forced to evacuate New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina, would land in Northern Louisiana. In May of 2009, Eric would graduate from Louisiana State University, Shreveport with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts.

Eric now lives in the Shreveport/Bossier area of Louisiana with his Wife Trina, and their three children, Timothy, Derrick & Sabrina. His oldest child Latrice, and her son Jalen, continue to live in Los Angeles.

Eric's has completed work on Dead Too Soon, a biographical look inside the lives of professional wrestling stars whose lives ended very young. Dead Too Soon included looks at such stars as Eddie Guerrero, Kerry Von Erich & Andre the Giant, as well as lesser known talents like "Quick Draw" Rick McGraw & Samoan Family member Gary Albright. Dead Too Soon is scheduled to be released in 2010.

Today, Eric is the host of Soul Review, a weekly radio show featuring classic soul and R&B, and can be heard each Wednesday Night from 9-10PM Eastern time over the Red River Radio network of stations (KDAQ 89.9 FM - Shreveport, Louisiana, KLSA 90.7 FM - Alexandria, Louisiana, KBSA 90.9 FM - Eldorado, Arkansas, & KLDN 88.9 FM - Lufkin-Nacogdoches, Texas) and online at redriverradio.org.

Eric is also currently working on Dead Too Soon II, the second volume of biographical looks inside the lives of professional wrestling stars whose lives ended very young. Dead Too Soon II will feature biographies of stars including Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow, "The Big Bossman" Ray Traylor & Sylvester Ritter - "The Junkyard Dog". Also featured will be the tragic stories of the deaths of both members of The Public Enemy, Johnny Grunge & Rocco Rock, and the stories of the lives and deaths of Chris & Nancy Benoit. Stay Tuned for details on its release!
