Eric recently hosted  a screening of the documentary Soul Power at the Robinson Film Center of Louisiana on June 19, 2010. Soul Power is the untold story of the Zaire '74 music festival, featuring live performances by such legends of music as James Brown, B.B. King, Celia Cruz, Bill Withers and more. 

The music festival was held in conjunction with promoter Don King's “The Rumble in the Jungle,” the epic fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.

Eric recently hosted a screening of the documentary Still Bill at the Robinson Film Center of Louisiana on April 18, 2010. Still Bill is an intimate portrait of soul legend Bill Withers, best known for his classics “Ain’t No Sunshine,” “Lean On Me,” “Lovely Day,” “Grandma’s Hands,” and “Just the Two of Us.”

Filmmakers Damani Baker and Alex Vlack follow Withers and offer a unique and rare look inside the world of this fascinating man.

Recently, Eric, along with Shreveport Mayoral Candidate Liz Swaine, hosted the 6th Annual Highland Jazz & Blues Festival at Columbia Park on November 14, 2009.

This is Eric alongside one of the headliners, Howlin' Henry Robinson.
